Amazon New guidelines

AMAZON NEW GUIDELINES

On October 3, 2016, Amazon posted new guidelines for reviews.

A reviewer was concerned that readers could no longer post their reviews on Amazon, as they receive books for free through France Book Tours.

No worry, you can still do so, just with a minor modification:

In the past, Amazon allowed reviewers to post a review in exchange for a free or discounted product as long as they disclosed that fact. Now, they state the following:

Book authors and publishers may continue to provide free or discounted copies of their books to readers, as long as the author or publisher does not require a review in exchange or attempt to influence the review.

Click here to access the whole page of new Guidelines

Therefore, from now on you don’t need to mention you received the book in exchange for a review.
Instead we suggest that you use this statement when posting on Amazon and other retail sites:

I received this book free of charge from the author/publisher
