I’ve read historical fiction about the Revolution and WWIi but not nearly enough. I want to read everything about France. I think it will be quite the history lesson as well as fascinating. Thank you for the post.

I am only now getting into French history, currently reading about Normandy and France back in the first century. I am looking forward to learning more about this part of the world, and their history.

ah wonderful, these early centuries were fascinating, with all the tribes invading form all over, each leaving its mark on what would eventually become France

My favorite era is La belle Epoque. The writers, artists, lifestyle and France during this time was fascinating and enthralling.

I know virtually nothing about French history much to my shame!! I am curious about how the French Revolution came about though which is why I want to read Will Bashor’s book. I want to read both actually but the choice had to be made!
