This memoir is a lesson in the good that can come from being brutally honest with oneself and taking risks for the chance of happiness. You may need to hit rock bottom and overcome many hurdles, but sometimes fairytales really do come true…
I read this memoir as though I was living through each step of her life as if the circumstances were my own, which is a credit to her writing and also to how she developed the voice of the memoir itself.
