I highly recommend Rodin’s Lover. Webb did a marvelous job with this, surpassing her debut novel. My review of Rodin’s Lover can be found here http://drchazan.blogspot.com/2014/11/the-cast-and-curse-of-genius.html

thanks Davida. I left a comment on your blog, and actually now following your reviews through bloglovin. And if I may add: you beautiful name made me think right away about Davita. I have enjoyed so much all the books by Chaim Potok, except maybe his very last one, where his writing had lost some of its width, at least for me

I’m really looking forward to reading Rodin’s Lover. I love books about artists and the cover is beautiful…especially the gold.

I really enjoy reading historical fiction, and since I’ve read Cognac Conspiracies, I’m really interested in Rodin’s Lover to learn more about the mysterious artist and how he was like.

well, as the title says, it’s actually more about HER

I would like to win Rodin’s Lover. I loved Heather Webb’s earlier work “Becoming Josephine”.”The Last Campaign for Marianne” sounds interesting, but Heather Webb is my choice. I don’t think, that I have seen a work of Rodin’s in person. However, I have seen the works of Henry Moore at the AGO in Toronto and used to pass by one every day at school. Artists in general seem to lead such interesting and different lives from the rest of us. I have been following the different tours for Heather’s book.

it is indeed a wonderful book. I believe most of Rodin’s (and Camille’s) works are in his own museum, so that’s a good excuse for a trip to France, lol

I found The Last Campaign for Marianne so interesting that I want this book, but not for myself, but as a gift to someone, for what is a better present than a book?

Hello! Often it’s so hard to decide among great choices in giveaways like this, but this month is a no-brainer, so to speak, for me — I most wish to win *Rodin’s Lover.* I was really impressed with *Becoming Josephine* (if you’re interested, here’s my review on Amazon: http://goo.gl/QW5FBh Helpful votes always brighten my day!), and I don’t think I’m entered in any pending giveaways for this book. On the other hand, I still have a chance in your giveaway for the Ebsworth novel, and I find the last choice insufficiently appealing to merit consideration alongside the opportunity to read Heather Webb again! Thanks for this great giveaway! Best regards, Kara S

thanks! The neat thing is there’s something here for everyone: histfic, war histfic, and cozy mystery, and this is part of a good cozy mystery series, for those who love that genre. Becoming Josephine as also featured on FBT: https://francebooktours.com/2013/07/12/heather-webb-on-tour-becoming-josephine/. Thanks for sharing your review
