Doing Dewey is organizing a fun month around nonfiction! Here is the topic for week 3:

Book Pairing:
This week, pair up a nonfiction book with a fiction title.
It can be a “If you loved this book, read this!”
or just two titles that you think would go well together.
Maybe it’s a historical novel
and you’d like to get the real history
by reading a nonfiction version of the story.

So here are 5 book pairings on France.

France Book Tours 2013

2013 has been a great year for France Book Tours, its authors and its reviewers!

Here is the year through some graphs and stats.

23 books have been presented in 2013.
I notice a nice balance in genre, but women writers are definitely more present here.
At the time where many lament of the scarcity of books translated from the French available in the US, it is nice to see that we didn’t do too bad!
