This was a tough one. I loved “The Boston Girl”. “A Desperate Fortune” and “At the Water’s Edge” were good, but not my favourites from those authors. I haven’t read Alice Hoffman’s latest yet, but I loved “The Dovekeepers” and Paula McLain’s “The Paris Wife”.”Letters to the Lost” was good too. But I had to give my vote to Kristin Hannah’s “The Nightingale”.

They all looked good, but Epitaph sounds really different. I have added all the rest on my TBR list.

I have read and loved all of Russell’s books so far, but this one did not pick up my interest, too close to her previous topic for me, in Doc
